INN: Feiglin Kept from Taking Group onto Temple Mount

Deputy Knesset Speaker Moshe Feiglin was prevented by police, Monday, from being accompanied by dozens of people on his monthly visit to the Temple Mount in Jerusalem’s Old City. Officers told him he was only permitted to enter by himself or with an aide. Feiglin explained to a senior officer that as a Knesset member, he could not enter the holy site without the people he was representing, but since it was the second time he was rebuffed, he did not enter under the police terms.

Despite their plan to accompany the Likud Beytenu lawmaker on his regular visit, the visitors entered the holy sites by themselves without thebenefit of Feiglin’s guided tour.

One Response so far.

Remember this… they were nice to Moshe for a few months so their big coalition bills (governance/draft/referendum) would pass, and then back to business as usual…
