Manhigut Yehudit
The First 100 Days In Office
Manhigut Yehudit's working plan for its first 100 days in government

of Dreams".

Part 3
The First Day
A) The
Night of Victory in the Elections
Thanksgiving
prayer of newly elected Prime Minister and his future government on the
Temple
Mount.
The
Temple
Mount
symbolizes the eternal bond between the People of Israel, the
Land
of
Israel
and G-d. Relinquishing control of the
Temple
Mount
-- the heart of the nation -- to the enemy is the source of our collapse.
Re-establishing our connection to the Temple
Mount
is the source of our revitalization. The first act of the newly elected
government must be at the Temple
Mount
-- before enemies from without and within can attempt to block it.
B) The Following Morning
For
the first time in
Israel
, the public will know -- prior to the elections -- not only who is in the
party they are being asked to vote for, but who will make up the cabinet, as
well. The ministers will be professionals in their respective areas of
expertise. There will be no coalition negotiations regarding the ministries.
Before elections are held, the political parties that may potentially join the
coalition will be asked to present their own professional candidates for
ministers. These candidates do not have to be political figures, and it is
even preferable that they are not. The government will be presented for the
authorization of the Knesset with the knowledge that if it is not authorized
there will be new elections in which an even greater victory for a belief
based government can be expected.
The
ministers' salaries will be linked to the average wage in
Israel. The salaries of MKs from the coalition will be likewise linked until a law
can be passed that will include all elected officials in
Israel. No worker in the public sector will be allowed to earn more than a minister,
including advisors and external employees.
Manhigut
Yehudit's government will include seven ministers in the following ministries:
1. Education: This ministry will be responsible
for developing Jewish identity in Israeli society in the educational system
from nursery to academia, as well as in Israeli culture, arts and the media.
2. Finance: This ministry will include
responsibility for the treasury, industry, agriculture, financial planning,
infrastructure, water resources and privatization and dismantling of
centralized monopolies.
3. Security: This ministry will be responsible
for all security issues and will counteract Israel ’s enemies both inside
Israel
and outside her borders. Israel’s enemies are defined as those who seek to destroy her -- physically or
spiritually -- as a Jewish State.
4. Internal Affairs: Responsible for justice,
police and liaison with the municipalities.
5. Diaspora: Responsible for developing and
maintaining ties with Jewish communities around the world and encouraging
aliyah to
Israel. The Jewish Agency will be closed and its branches will be transferred to the
jurisdiction of the Israeli embassies. The ministry will interact with foreign
countries according to criteria that will be determined.
6. Land
of
Israel: Responsible for developing Jerusalem
and the Temple
Mount, liberating the Land and encouraging and developing Jewish settlements. The
ministry will also offer emigration aid to non-Jews.
7. Health
and Sport: The Jewish nation has to be vigorous and healthy. Sport is
not just entertainment, but the way to build robust health. This ministry will
be responsible for promoting a healthy consciousness and lifestyle for the
Jewish Nation, and will maintain a health care framework that works.
