Moshe Feiglin: Gov Must Prepare for Aliyah of 1.5 Million Jews in Next Decade

“The lesson that I think we can learn from the events in Kiev,” said MK Moshe Feiglin,  “is that Israel must prepare for the aliyah of one and a half million Jews over the next decade. During the rioting, the Rabbi of Kiev called upon the Jews of the capital and of the entire Ukraine to flee. The loss of stability revealed the basic, brutal anti-Semitism that still threatens the Jews of Europe. Western Europe’s dead-end economic situation, Eastern Europe’s instability, the bursting American economic bubble (17.5 trillion dollars in debt) and additional factors have made Israel the only default choice for the majority of Jews. A modest estimate that approximately 20% of those Jews will seek to make aliyah to Israel means that  one and a half million Jews will be knocking on our door in the coming decade. This has to be the working assumption of the government in all its planning for housing, infrastructure and more.”
