Moshe Feiglin: Illegal Migrants are not Refugees

Thousands of illegal migrants demonstrated today in front of the Knesset, demanding refugee status. But when a “refugee” crosses the border of a country that is not threatening him (Egypt, in this case) he is no longer a refugee: he is an immigrant. When he attempts to cross into Israel from an area that he knows is dangerous (Sinai) he proves that he is not motivated by the fear of danger, but rather, by hope to live in a developed country.
