Bibi Swimming Down Oslo Stream

downstreamIf you don't swim against the stream, you will eventually be swept along in its current. Bibi is paddling away, right down the middle of the Oslo torrent. No Opposition leader has ever had the golden opportunity that Netanyahu had after Israel's defeat in Lebanon to overthrow the government and lead the country. But Bibi didn't do it. He is missing the two basic ingredients that an Opposition leader needs if he intends to replace the existing government:

1. An alternative ideology
2. Leadership

Although he has some alternative and "creative" tactics, Bibi does not have an alternative ideology. This leaves the majority of Israel's public with no way to express its disgust with the current, leftist leadership. It means that nobody is breathing down Olmert's neck, and that he can devote his efforts, unhindered, to dealing with the legal accusations that he faces. And it also means that when Bibi reaches the conclusion that he is becoming irrelevant on the political scene, he will simply join Olmert and help him to implement his destructive policies. (First signs of this eventuality were widely reported in Israel's media this week).

Likudniks support Bibi  because they believe that he is the only Likud candidate who can beat Barak. We deeply question that assumption. If Bibi offers no ideology different than Oslo, people will choose the original instead of the imitation. As has been proven time and again, when the Likud helps to implement the Left's policies, it becomes redundant and Israeli voters abandon it for the original Left.

Manhigut Yehudit: Upstream to Jewish Destiny

upstreamManhigut Yehudit is the ONLY movement today that has a realistic plan to lead the Nation of Israel to its Jewish destiny. Those people who hold their noses and prefer not to sully themselves in the Likud -- are simply fish out of water. In effect, they accept Bibi's leadership from the outset.

After all, no Right wing party is going to support a Leftist government. So the Right wing parties are already deep inside Bibi's pocket, leaving him or any other similar Likud leader free to join the Left, with the knowledge that the Right has no alternative. The Right wing parties that strive to be part of Bibi's coalition send him a clear message: "I promise you my vote and I promise that I will protest against you after you win." How many times can the Orange public make the same mistake?

Manhigut Yehudit is finished playing the game of pretend. We're not swimming outside the water. We are in the middle of the current -- and
swimming upstream the whole way. We are fighting inside the Likud because that is where the decisions are made. And while we're at it, we're making tremendous headway on the Jewish identity front. Influential people from all sectors of Israeli life -- from completely secular to ultra-
Orthodox -- have connected to the truth that we represent and are anxious to help.

The choice is in your hands. You can choose to be swept along with all the others down the Oslo stream. Or you can choose to swim upstream with Manhigut Yehudit. You may swallow some water along the way, but ultimately, you will have the privilege of helping the Nation of Israel fulfill its Jewish destiny.

You can help create the Jewish majority revolution. Now is the time to support Manhigut Yehudit. Click here for our on line secure donation form. Oslo Logic

By Moshe Feiglin

Tamuz, 5767
June, 2007

Translated from Moshe Feiglin's article on the NRG website.

upside downMany were surprised last week to hear press reports of Binyamin Netanyahu's proposal to dispatch Jordan's Palestinian Badr Brigade to Judea and Samaria. Silvan Shalom hurried to outflank Netanyahu on the right and to attack the proposal with various claims. "They are too old," Silvan
explained, "and furthermore, they will not protect the Jews, but rather, attack them." I happen to agree with Shalom, even though his claims are a
bit shallow.

The logic behind Bibi's proposal is to roll the problem of the Arabs of Judea and Samaria to Jordan's doorstep. Netanyahu is not stupid. He
understands that King Hussein is feeling the heat of the events in Lebanon and Iraq, on his northern border. Hussein clearly understands that if an
Islamic revolution makes its way from Gaza to Judea and Samaria -- on his eastern border -- he will be left in an Islamic pincer that will quickly close in on him. His last hope is Israel. According to Netanyahu, Israel must take advantage of this timely opportunity.

The problem is that Netanyahu's "solution" is trapped on the plane of Oslo logic. Many people have already forgotten how, fourteen years ago, Yossi
Beilin confidently explained that "we must take advantage of the window of opportunity" that had presented itself. Arafat was collapsing in Tunis,
and according to Beilin's Oslo logic, that was the perfect time to initiate a daring plan to bring him to Israel. Bibi's current plan follows the same logic.

An Opposition is supposed to present an alternative. In Israel, though, the Right has surrendered its own dream and has adopted the leftist, Oslo
dream. Since Netanyahu's warm handshake with Arafat, all of Israel's political paths lead to Oslo and its logic. Every Israeli already knows that if he
votes Left, he will get Left, and if he votes Right, he will get double Left. That is the source of the general despondence prevailing in Israel. It is the
feeling of a dead end and reality turned on its head.

The "creative" ideas that Netanyahu and his fellow politicians propose will continue to blow up in our faces. If the Badr Brigade idea does materialize,
G-d forbid, its soldiers will ultimately fight against Israel under the flag of the Hamas. They will also be the bridgehead for the Islamic revolution in
the Jordanian army.

It is urgent that we get off the Oslo logic stage set and begin to deal with reality. The reality is that the Land of Israel belongs to the Nation of
Israel. Those people -- from both Left and Right -- who have exchanged simple Jewish logic for Oslo logic are no longer connected to reality. They
are stuck on the "creative" Oslo solutions and will never be able to deal with the challenge of Jewish sovereignty in the Land of Israel.

Oslo Logic 2

It was no less than embarrassing to hear the voice of Gilad Shalit this week, speaking to us from his place of captivity -- just half an hour away from
Israel. While Israel worries about the humanitarian needs of Gilad's captors in Gaza, it does nothing to release him or the other Israeli captives --
both in Arab countries and in the United States (where Olmert met with Bush last week, but did nothing to bring Pollard home). It is another example
of Oslo logic that serves Israel's enemies while abandoning its sons.

More on "Longing for the Old Country"

Shmuel Sackett's latest article, "Longing for the Old Country,"  generated a flurry of responses from our readers. Here is just one example:

Dear Shmuel,

Yugoslavia holocaustI am a survivor of the Yugoslav Holocaust, where 80 thousand Jews lived. The Croatians and Bosnians were
so vile that even the German occupiers were horrified. I believe that barely 7,000 of us survived, and yet
some Jews went back on vacation. I never even dream to return to that cursed land and I do not understand why people take their children to the land where we were humiliated
and murdered. I would like to talk to those silly
people who take their children to these places instead of
showing them glorious Israel.

Shalom,

EC

Primaries Soon

feiglinAccording to news reports, Bibi is interested in Likud primaries at the earliest possible date. His advisors reportedly feel that he has reached his peak, and the only way that he can possibly go from here is down.

Whenever primaries actually do take place, Manhigut Yehudit will be in the race. There is only one movement in Israel that correctly analyzes reality, fearlessly swims against the stream of fools -- even when that is most unpopular --  and also presents an authentic leadership alternative. That is Manhigut Yehudit. The first step, of course, is winning the rapidly approaching Likud primaries. When the Likud members hear what we have to say, they connect to our message. It is urgent to reach out to them now.

What can I do?

If you are an Israeli citizen now is the time to sign up for the Likud. Be sure to also sign up family and friends. If you are already a member you may have children over 18 that have not yet signed up. For just a small investment (64 Israeli Shekels for a single membership / 96 Israeli Shekels for a couple), the new Likud member turns from just another insignificant protestor into a highly exclusive and influential voter. Yes, the Likud has severe faults. But it is the most effective ticket to revolutionizing Israel.

Shmittah Planting Deadline Nears

moshe plantsThis coming Jewish year -- 5768 -- will be a Shmitah (Sabbatical) year in Israel in which planting is prohibited by Jewish law. While the Shmitah year officially begins on Rosh HaShanah (Sept 13th) planting of NEW fruit trees must be done NO LATER than the 15th of Av (July 30th).

One of the most important things for Israeli farmers to do is to plant -- as much as possible -- BEFORE the Shmitah begins. Since they will not be planting for over a year, these trees will serve as their main income for many years to come. This unique mitzvah -- of planting on the eve of Shmitah -- comes just ONCE in seven years!!!

Manhigut Yehudit has taken upon itself to help many of the farming communities throughout Judea and Samaria during this time. The brave young men and women who live in these areas are working virtually around the clock getting their fields ready for full observance of Shmitah, according to the strictest guidelines of Jewish law.

You can take part in this once-in-a-seven-year-mitzvah!
You can help redeem the land, plant new fruit trees and provide a livelihood for many Jews. But you have to act fast. The July 30th deadline is not a joke or marketing gimmick. It is real. We MUST know ASAP how many trees you want to plant so that we can make all of the arrangements with our people in Yitzhar, Elon Moreh and other settlements. The earlier the better!

Please click here to plant a tree before Shmitah.

A beautiful personalized - full color - certificate will be mailed to you.

Trees can be planted in memory of departed ones, in honor of family or friends or for any reason at all. Your certificate will contain the text you want and is suitable for framing.
Attention synagogues, families and communities:

Plant 100 trees and receive your own private vineyard or olive grove! A beautiful wooden sign will be placed at the entrance to the vineyard or olive grove with your name and special dedication.

For more information, please call Shmuel Sackett at (516) 295-3222 or email: shmuel@manhigut.org

This was to impress upon Balaam that there is no place for pride over the fact that he has been given the gift of prophecy. If it suits G-d's purposes, even a donkey will see angels and make speeches.
