Terrorist Release Could Have Been Prevented: By Rob Muchnick

Manhigut Yehudit’s Rob Muchnick on the terrorist release at a Brooklyn press conference:

Less than two weeks ago, a bill was presented in Knesset by MK Yakov Litzman of the United Torah Judaism party. This bill would have prevented Jerusalem from even being discussed in any future negotiations with the PLO without getting the approval in advance of at least 80 Knesset Members.

When a bill is presented by any opposition MK, the governing coalition always gives an official response to it. In this case, the Prime Minister chose Tzipi Livni to give the official response.

Livni said that this bill cannot be allowed to pass because it would mean the end of the peace process.

All of us at Manhigut Yehudit long for the end of this phony peace process which is really the process by which Israel is, G-d forbid, attempting to be destroyed, so the head of our group, MK Moshe Feiglin, spurned the coalition, and he was the only MK from the coalition to vote in favor of this bill to protect Jerusalem and end the Oslo process.

There have been multiple other bills like this over the last few months which all had the potential to either end the Oslo process or stop the terrorist release, but in each of these 5 cases Moshe Feiglin was the sole member of the coalition to vote his conscience.

One very well known rightist Knesset Member from the coalition called MK Feiglin a “strange bird” for voting for what he thought was right and not voting “with the team”.

It is our hope at Manhigut Yehudit that all the rest of the rightist MKs in the coalition will follow their consciences and start becoming strange birds like MK Feiglin and vote for the best interests of Am Yisrael on every vote instead of staying on the team and playing politics.

If this bill had passed, not one more terrorist would be released, and not one more inch of our G-d given Land of Israel would be given away or be on the chopping block.

Then, the government of Israel would have no choice but to get out of the way of the will of the people and annex all of our precious lands liberated in the 6-Day War of 1967.

At that point, we could get on with our true national mission, of being a holy nation in our holy land, of being a Light Unto the Nations, and of perfecting the world in the Kingdom of the Almighty.

Thank you very much.

Am Yisrael Chai,

Rob Muchnick
