Moshe Feiglin: Government Funded Pensions Scandalous

The pensions funded from the national budget, in which retired officials receive over 30,000 NIS per month, are madly scandalous. While the government is willing to make welfare cuts that literally take the food out of childrens’ mouths, nobody is willing to touch these pensions.

I have been working on this issue for half a year. I have posed Knesset queries to the Finance Minister, the Minister for Internal Security and the Defense Minister – all of whose ministries fund these pensions. They have all evaded the issue. Today I raised the issue again with the Knesset Speaker and will continue to work to get to the bottom of this scandal.
