Moshe Feiglin: Israel Capitulates to Arab Demands due to Identity Crisis
Rumors are flying about Israel’s willingness to free an additional 400 Arab terrorists in exchange for the privilege to continue ‘peace’ negotiations.
Israel, utterly at odds with its identity, is incapable of justifying its existence as a Jewish State. It cannot deal with the claim of the ‘justice of the Palestinian cause.’
The Prime Minister and the Opposition heads are incapable of solving the identity conundrum, which is an internal conflict. As a result, they cannot solve the external conflict with the Arabs, either. The result is that we pay in the hard currency of construction freeze or the release of murderers in exchange for the farce of a ‘process’ that is supposed to address the Arab demand for justice. Clearly, this moral, security and sovereignty capitulation will bring no good tidings, for it evades the foundation of the conflict instead of dealing with it.
As I did in the past, when I voted against the national budget in an attempt to prevent the nightmare of terrorist release, I will continue to do all in my power to prevent additional releases.
