Moshe Feiglin: Sad Day When Parliament Closes a Newspaper
On Wednesday, the Knesset decided that the Israel Hayom daily newspaper, funded by pro-Netanyahu tycoon Sheldon Adelson, can no longer be distributed for free – effectively closing the newspaper. “I will fight to my last drop of blood,” said Moshe Feiglin in the Knesset deliberation, “so that the leftist Haaretz and the pro-Netanyahu Israel Hayom will be able to express their opinions. Is this a democratic parliament? Or are we Bolsheviks?” Feiglin asked the leftist Knesset Members. “It is a sad day when the parliament closes a newspaper,” he concluded.
